LETTER

Here is part of a letter you receive from your new pen friend in New Zealand:
One of my great interests is food! I really love to cook. Can you tell me all about the typical food of your area? Do people still cook traditional dishes? Please could you describe how to make a typicall dish?

Hi Anne, everything okey? I hope so.
Well, like you ask me in you letter, I'm going to explain you all about our typical food. I think you know that I live in Catalonia, which is in Spain, exactly at the north east of Spain, bordering France. A nice place I have to say, but you want to know about our food, so let's start. In Catalonia the most common dish is "pa amb tomàquet", translated bread with tomatoes, plenty of times it goes with "botifarra" like a frankfurt, but with the meat of a hamburger. It's really good! I love it. We also have white beans, "seques" for us, they also go with "botifarra". Paella is not as common as in Valencia but we also cook a lot. So I think I'm going to give you some instructions for bread with tomatoes, the easiest one and possibly the one you'll use more.
First of all you have to have the following ingredients:
-Bread
-Tomatoes
-Oil-Salt
-And something else you can choose to eat with it.

First step, make bread pieces, then cut the tomatoes in two parts, once you have it move the tomatoes for the bread, then add some oil and salt and you can eat it.
As you can see is too easy and it's very typical, people still do all this dishes I mentioned.

Greetings to your parents,

Ariadna
